Today Moshi Monsters opened their beta site to the public. Which means you can now sign up and make your very own Moshi Monster without a Mopod code.

This is my Moshi Monster, named Yogurt. He’s fluffy and blue.. and a little bit conceited, but I love him anyway.

He is especially cute when I tickle him, because he throws up his arms like this. He seems to like to be tickled.

There are little shops where you can buy different things for your Moshi Monster, using Rox (the currency). Some of the things you can buy include wallpaper, flooring, furniture, food, and lots of other interesting things to decorate your house with.

You can play these puzzles once a day to get more Rox, but this is currently the only way to gain more Rox… and I think you should also be able to get them from the two other games on the site. That’s my only problem with it right now, because after you run out of Rox there’s not much else to do with your Moshi Monster.

There is a friends tree, where you can see the people you have made friends with. You can also search for a owner name and find people you know.

I think this is a very fun website, and it will keep you occupied for quite awhile.
